BACKWATER VALVES

Backwater Protection

What is a backwater valve?

A backwater valve provides protection against backflow of sewage into a home. It allows for free flow of air and outflow of sewage. We carry, install and service a few different kinds of backwater valve system.

The City of Winnipeg and Province of Manitoba have introduced a subsidy program to help homeowners protect their basement from flooding caused by overloaded sewers during severe weather (e.g., heavy rain, high river levels).
